Two one-bedroom cottages in Hartington

Behind Knowl Cottage are two further stone cottages, Manifold and Dove Cottages, converted from an old barn. Again they exude character, whilst still offering comfort and convenience.

Each cottage normally sleeps two people, but Manifold Cottage has the option of an additional single bed. Both cottages are graded 4 stars by the English Tourist Board.

There are plenty of original old beams and other interesting features in both cottages. Being in the courtyard, off the road, they are exceptionally quiet. There is also provision for parking in the courtyard and for a barbecue, shared with the other cottages.

Dove Cottage

Dove Cottage is a two person cottage.  The living room is downstairs and upstairs is the bedroom, with an en-suite bathroom.  

Also upstairs is the kitchen with open plan dining area.  There are exposed beams in the kitchen and the bedroom.  

The cottage living room has a log effect  stove, leather settees and leather armchairs, plus a TV and DVD player.

The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, with gloss work-tops and real granite sink, fridge-freezer, microwave, ceramic topped electric cooker. There is a TV in the bedroom as well as the lounge. There is fully controllable central heating throughout.

Manifold Cottage

Manifold Cottage is a two person cottage but also has the option of an extra single bed, giving the option of sleeping three in a room or alternatively, to be used as two singles. This bedroom is open plan, exposing some impressive original beams. 

The cottage has a log effect  stove in the living area, which has leather settees and leather armchairs, plus a TV and DVD player.

The fully equipped modern kitchen has gloss work-tops and real granite sink, fridge-freezer, microwave, ceramic topped electric cooker. There is a TV in the bedroom as well as the lounge. There is fully controllable central heating throughout.

Although the cottages have different layouts, the overall floor space of the two cottages is roughly the same.
